Monthly Reflection November 2018

Love. Most probably the word ‘love’ is the most used word throughout the different languages. The word ‘love’ is used in different occasions to describe something we like, such as,… I love my country, I love football, I love cooking… etc. For me as a Christian the word ‘love’ reminds me of how much Jesus loves each person. L-inbid tal-preferenzi jsakkar lil kulħadd. Jista’ jkun li dan id-diskors ta’ Ġesù seħħ fl-isfond ta’ dak li d-dixxipli ġieli tkellmu dwaru bejniethom: min hu l-ikbar fosthom; u japplika għalina fl-isfond tal-pretensjonijiet tagħna li nistennew li nkunu ppreferuti għax ‘ngħixu tajjeb’. Bħala bnedmin malajr niskru fil-pretensjonijiet tagħna li bħal kelb fidili immorru quddiem sidna, nferfru denbna b’geddumna ’l fuq nistennew iċ-ċejċa mingħandu, talli nkunu għamilna.
