PILGRIMAGE RETREAT: ‘I am with you always’ … Living with Loneliness

“Where are the people?” resumed the little prince at last. “It’s a little lonely in the desert…” “It is lonely when you’re among people, too,” said the snake. (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry).

This year’s Pilgrimage Retreat will focus on how modern life can leave us feeling isolated and lonely. However, God reminds us that our relationship with Him is a tether that holds us through periods of loneliness in our life. Throughout this retreat, we shall be considering our own loneliness and that of others, and in so doing we will continue our pilgrimage towards ‘the Holy’ – the One – who enriches us, gives us meaning and even transforms our lives.

The retreat will consist of input sessions, time for personal reflection, as well as shared prayer and the opportunity to experience the ancient form of prayer known as the ‘Labyrinth’. There will also be the possibility of one-on-one spiritual conversations with one of the guides.

Dates: Friday 28 February 7pm – Sunday 1 March 3:30pm

Venue: Mount St Joseph Retreat House, Mosta – Malta

Leaders: Clare Camilleri, Maria Theresa Portelli & team
