The Centre for Ignatian Spirituality (Malta) will be offering another experience of prayer with a Finger Labyrinth. Since the pandemic is still with us, we are not gathering at Mount St Joseph Retreat House for the annual Labyrinth Retreat on World Labyrinth Day (Saturday 1st May 2021). We are therefore offering an alternative form of the Labyrinth experience, that of “walking” a Finger Labyrinth.
A Finger Labyrinth is similar to a full-sized labyrinth one would walk, but on a much smaller and more portable scale. The person praying with a Finger Labyrinth traces the path to the centre of the labyrinth by using his/her finger rather than his/her feet.

Those who are interested in this prayer experience, will receive a text for meditation via email on Saturday 24th April 2021 after they register. The Finger Labyrinth will also be provided with this text so that participants can “walk” with their finger either on screen or on paper if printed out.
This prayerful experience, which can be done any time between the 24th April and 1st May 2021 in the comfort of our homes, will lead up to World Labyrinth Day on Saturday 1st May 2021 when we will be meeting online via Google Meet between 3.30pm and 5.00pm for some time of prayer and to share our experiences of this meditation.
This online session will be led by Maria Theresa Portelli and Patricia Stilon.
We invite you to register for this prayer experience by Friday 23rd April 2021 by using this link – https://forms.gle/domo26WunEk6wYim6
Contents of this retreat will be different from last year’s.
