Rabbi Asher Resnick teaches: “Pain is a reality, suffering is a choice.” In our moments of great pain why don’t we choose to engage in a personal communication with God? Will not God really ease our pain and open us for real hope? Will He not console us in our afflictions and turn our wounds into streams of mercy that we can share with those who are suffering? Is this not a big life gift indeed?!
