Possibly the Book of Psalms is the ‘go to’ book in the Old Testament.
Psalms are ancient poems that express a whole range of reflections or emotions dealing with our relationship with God. They are used in liturgy, community worship as well as personal prayer or reflection. During this one-day retreat we shall be reflecting and praying particularly on Psalms that express our need or longing for God or our searching for Him.
The day will weave together input sessions with time for silent personal reflection and prayer. Participants are invited to bring a copy of the Bible and writing materials.
The retreat will be held in Maltese on Saturday 6 November 2021 between 9.00am – 4.30pm and will be led by Maria Theresa Portelli at Mount St Joseph Retreat House, Mosta.
