On Wednesday 29th March 2023, Prof. Eguiarte Bendimez will deliver a lecture at the KSU Hall of the University of Malta (canteen, entrance to UOM from Mater Dei), at 19.00hrs, on The Book of Creation. Augustine and Ecology. Revd Can. Dr Jonathtan Farrugia, HOD, Faculty of Theo0logy, UOM, will chair the event. After drinks will be served.
On Thursday, 30th March 2023, at 18.15hrs, Prof. Eguiarte Bendimez will speak on the topic The Role of De Catechizandis Rudibus within the process of a Christian Initiation programme in Hippo Regius. The lecture will be held at the new premises of the Augustinian Institute in St Julian’s (entrance from Bay Street Complex, St Julian’s).
The lecture will be chaired by the Rt Revd Mgr Professor Hector Scerri, from the Faculty of Theology of the UOM. After drinks will be served.

Revd Professor Dr Henry Eguiarte Bendimez OAR, twieled ġewwa Mexico City nhar is-17 ta’ Diċembru 1960. Huwa għandu ċittadinanza doppja, dik Messikana u dik Spanjola. Daħal mal-Agostinjani Rekolletti f’Navarra, Spanja nhar is-16 t’Awwissu. Huwa qaddes nhar it-23 ta’ Diċembru 1985.
Bejn l-1981 u l-1985 kiseb Liċenzjat fit-teoloġija fl-universitajiet ta’ Navarra, u Pamplona fi Spanja. Bejn 1986 u l-1991 huwa studja għal Liċenzjat fil-Letteratura Ibero-Amerikana fl-università tal-Ġiżwiti f’Mexico City, u bejn 1991 u l-1994 kiseb ukoll Diploma fil-Psikoloġija. Bejn l-2007 u 2010 kiseb lawrja fit-Teolġija u x-Xjenza Patristika mill-Augustinianum.
Huwa jgħallem fl-universitajiet ta’ Marcilla, Navarra, fi Spanja, u huwa wkoll Professur Ordinarju tal-Università Pontifiċja Lateranensi l-Augustinianum, f’Ruma fejn jgħix. Huwa kittieb ta’ għadd kbir ta’ kotba u artikli f’rivisti internazzjonasli. P. Eguiarte huwa wkoll l-editur tar-rivisia Agostinjana Spnajola Augustinus.
