“Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Philippians 3, 20-21).
We all are born somewhere.
We all (usually) have our ‘citizenship’ at the country where we are born.
Moving around on this small planet is very often limited with visas and a pile of bureaucratic procedures.
Meanwhile by conception each one of us is a citizen of Heaven.
Citizenship to Heaven is freely granted to us by the Holy Trinity
As a direct effect (and ONLY that) of their Trinitarian Love that we have been conceived.
Our parents were partners with the Trinity to make happen, God’s dream for each one of us.
God provided the soul, and our parents gave their availability to God, to give to that soul created by God, a body.
Our face, our body composure, our complexion might be similar to that of our parents, but our DNA is Trinitarian. What really makes us who we are is Trinitarian. We have been created by God and resemble God Himself.
But God’s dream doesn’t end with our conception.
God still has a BIG DREAM for each one of us.
God’s dream for each one of us is to one day be FULLY UNITED with God, and to eternally swim in God’s big lake of love that is contained in His heart.
No need for any Visa to get to this great lake, no need for expensive tickets to be given access, as by conception and then even more by Baptism, we have been catapulted to the shoreline of this BIG LAKE.
We have deckchairs and big sun umbrellas waiting for us, and while enjoying the sun at the shade and the beautiful lake smell and freshness, we have as a waiter Jesus Himself, who through the Holy Spirit will keep us fully well served, till the moment we are fully united with Him in Heaven.
The Sacraments are the drinks that make us ‘taste’ God and Heaven, while still on our way to full Union with God.
No need for credit cards, Revolut, Paypal balances or cash. Drinks and food at the Lakes side are free and its an open bar. A free buffet is also available for all who wish to stay at this lake side waiting till we are called to fully get a dip in God’s embracing and refreshing arms.
Ohhhhhhh what a wonderful DREAM God has for us.
Our parents might be happy if we are healthy, have a great and good remunerative job or if we make them grandparents.
Ohhhhhhhhhh lol how God’s dream for us flies at higher altitudes than those of our parents.
Lets all do our part to make immediately God’s dream for us true.
Let’s get access to this shoreline and enjoy our time there, till we are fully one day united with God in Heaven.
