Did you know that grace is participation in the life of God? Are you surprised by this?
Well, according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 1997 explains that ‘Grace is a participation in the life of God. It introduces us into the intimacy of Trinitarian life: by Baptism the Christian participates in the grace of Christ, the Head of his Body. As an “adopted son” he can henceforth call God “Father,” in union with the only Son. He receives the life of the Spirit who breathes charity into him and who forms the Church.’
This is wonderful and encouraging indeed, knowing that by baptism the Christian participates in the grace of Christ. Reflecting upon paragraph 1997 from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, has uplifted my life and enriched my faith as a Christian.
I hope that you appreciate that by grace you are introduced to the intimacy of Trinitarian life. I encourage you to thank God for His grace and to keep praying for His grace.
God Bless You
