Sixth seminar in the ongoing Christian Hope Series

The Malta Association for Spirituality and Culture (MASC) and the
Carmelite Institute Malta are delighted to invite you to attend the
sixth seminar in the ongoing Christian Hope Series, titled “Saved by
Hope.”

This thought-provoking session, which will take place on Saturday, 29
March 2025, will explore the profound message of Romans 8:24, as
expressed in the encyclical Spe Salvi Facti Sumus. The session will
cover key themes from Romans 8, including life in the Spirit, the
relationship between the present and the future, and justification in
Christ, along with a guided analysis of Spe Salvi Facti Sumus and group
sharing on its impact. Open to all those interested in Scripture,
theology, and spirituality, this seminar offers an opportunity for deep
reflection and discussion on the theme of Christian hope.

The seminar will be led by Rev. Prof. Hector Scerri.

The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CST Sala Madonna
tal-Karmnu in Birkirkara, located adjacent to the St. Therese of Lisieux
Shrine and Friary. The hall is easily accessible from the street, with
convenient parking available in the square in front of the church.

This seminar is part of an ongoing series that invites participants to
engage with Christian perspectives on hope and its transformative power
in both personal and communal life. It is open to MASC members, and the
public is encouraged to attend.
