In a very thought-provoking banner, which is presently standing at the left hand-side of Mater Dei’s Hospital chapel, there is a profound saying of St. Teresa of Calcutta: If you have a sick or lonely person … be there. May be just to hold a hand, may be just to give a smile, that is the greatest, the most beautiful work.
Am I being there for my brothers and sisters who are sick and lonely? Am I giving them a caring smile? Am I bold enough to just be there for them?
