Some weeks ago, a friend suggested to me the book by Cardinal Robert Sarah, The power of silence against the dictatorship of noise. In this profound and soul-searching book Cardinal Sarah writes: “Silence is more important than any other human work for it expresses God. The true revolution comes from silence; it leads us towards God and others so as to place ourselves humbly and generously at their service”.
How much do I cherish silence? Am I letting silence helping me obey God’s voice to serve Him in other people?
