Il-ħarġa tmiss ukoll il-bidu tal-proġett ta’ restawr tal-akwedott tas-seklu 19 mill-għolja ta’ Għar Ilma għar-Rabat, waqt li għandna aġġornament fuq il-bini tal-pixxina interna pubblika. Fost artikli oħra interessanti wieħed jeżamina l-evidenza tal-kult votiv fit-tempji uniċi tal-Ġgantija. The editorial reflects on the phenominal disappearance of the shoulder months of tourism, given the continuous flow of visitors thronging our streets and eateries and accommodation venues. Indeed, the island now looks ahead to an incredible number of indoor and outdoor events in the run-up to Christmas and beyond. In the extensive diocesan news section what stands out is a synopsis of the sermons delivered by Bishop Teuma during 2022, which provides a veritable and thoughtful insight into the spiritual ‘state of the island’. The periodical also reponts on the start of the restoration project of the 19th century aqueduct that ran from the hill of Għar Ilma to Victoria, while we are given an update on the construction of the public Olympics-sized indoor pool. Among other interesting articles, one examines evidence of the votive cult present in the unique temples of Ġgantija. Other coverage concerns photography and poetry, the Kite & Wind Festival in Għarb, the International Folk Festival, the thriving Victoria Scout Group, and athletics.
